Dublê Hotel - The Original is often praised for its strategic and prime location near Boa Viagem beach, making it a popular choice for both leisure and business travelers. The hotel's proximity to the beach and convenience to nearby restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and essential services provide guests with a vibrant and accessible neighborhood setting. This ideal location, combined with excellent value for money, enhances the overall travel experience for visitors in Recife.
Breakfast at the hotel is widely acclaimed for its variety and quality, with freshly made options like tapioca receiving particular praise. The attentive and friendly staff further enhance the dining experience, creating a delightful start to the day. Room experiences are generally positive, with many guests noting the cleanliness and comfort of accommodations, although inconsistencies in room size and bathroom updates are mentioned. The staff's attentiveness and politeness are highlighted repeatedly, contributing to a warm, welcoming stay.
The hotel's cleanliness is generally well-regarded, although there are occasional concerns about musty smells and maintenance lapses. As for the Wi-Fi, guests report varied experiences, with some facing connectivity challenges and restrictions on simultaneous device use. Nonetheless, the hotel maintains a reputation for good service and cleanliness despite these minor issues.
Comfort-wise, many guests appreciate the bed quality and fresh room renovations, although some concerns arise from outdated mattresses and bed configurations. The hotel's overall setup is likened more to a hostel than a traditional three-star hotel, accommodating guests with a simple, effective approach that meets expectations for short stays and transit visits. While certain amenities and facilities require improvement, the hotel's staff, location, and breakfast make it a strong option for budget-conscious travelers seeking a satisfactory stay.
