The Best Western Plus Carpinteria Inn boasts clean, quiet and comfortable rooms with beautiful views of either the courtyard or balcony. While some guests felt that the rooms were small, others were happy with the spacious layout and good facilities. While there were a few minor issues, like a blinking light or a broken lamp outlet, most guests praised the cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms. Some guests noted that renovations were needed and that some rooms lacked amenities, like an extra firm bed or a working bath or shower. However, many guests enjoyed the Mexican-style decor and the well-maintained inner courtyard with its gorgeous fountain. The hotel's location off the highway makes it a convenient stopover for passing stays and a restaurant just across the street was highly recommended. Despite some reservations not being met, the hotel's friendly staff and location, appearance and room quality made it a great option for a night's stay.
