Hotel Eclipse in Playa Coronado offers a tranquil retreat with breathtaking views of the coastal region and surrounding landscapes. Set in a serene, mountain-like environment, it is ideal for guests seeking relaxation. The hotel's terrace and pool area, featuring a stunning infinity pool with mesmerizing evening neon lights, add to the peaceful ambiance, providing picturesque spots to unwind.
Guests consistently praise the warm, friendly and accommodating staff, contributing to an overall enjoyable stay. The staff's exceptional customer service is frequently highlighted in reviews, enhancing the guest experience significantly. The hotel is also pet-friendly, welcoming furry friends, which appeals to many guests.
Breakfast at Hotel Eclipse is highly regarded, often described as excellent with freshly made dishes such as omelettes and fresh fruit. While the variety has room for improvement, it generally provides a great start to the day. Dinner receives mixed reviews with commendations for taste and drinks but critiques on value, portion sizes and menu variety.
The rooms impress with their spaciousness, comfort and scenic views, particularly those overlooking the lagoon. However, some areas need attention including outdated decor, maintenance issues and the absence of basic amenities like refrigerators. Internet connectivity is also a concern with WiFi being unreliable specifically in the rooms. Despite these issues, the overall comfort and cleanliness of the rooms often leave a positive impression.
Cleanliness across the hotel yields mixed feedback. While many guests appreciate the super clean environment, others note that maintenance and upkeep could be improved, especially in the gardens, pool and common areas. Specific attention is suggested for issues with spider webs, bathroom maintenance and general repairs.
The beds at the hotel receive varied feedback; some guests find them comfortable, contributing to a restful night's sleep, but there are noticeable maintenance issues. Complaints about bed conditions, minimal bedding, electrostatic sparks and additional charges for extra beds indicate areas needing improvement for enhanced comfort and satisfaction.
Overall, Hotel Eclipse offers a serene, visually pleasing escape with notable strengths in service, scenic views and certain amenities, balanced with areas that could benefit from attention to maintenance and improvements in specific guest services.
