Hôtel des 2 Gares is celebrated for its prime, tranquil location near the train station and Mont Blanc Tramway, offering exceptional accessibility and a peaceful retreat. Its proximity to slopes, hiking trails and the village center with shops, thermal baths, bars and restaurants makes it a favored base for explorers and outdoor enthusiasts.
Guests enjoy a delicious, generous and varied breakfast, often applauded for its quality and range, including savory and sweet options such as croissants, cakes, fresh local products, cold cuts and cheeses. The breakfast buffet is praised for being plentiful and regularly replenished, providing excellent value for money and creating a pleasant start to the day, further enhanced by the friendly, attentive staff.
While the hotel doesn't always offer dinner due to staffing, its location near numerous dining options compensates well, ensuring easy access to local restaurants. The rooms are highlighted for their cleanliness, spaciousness and comfort, featuring modern amenities, comfortable bedding and charming décor. Some rooms boast large balconies and windows with stunning mountain views, although there are occasional mentions of limited space or problematic access to skylights. Additional amenities such as the pool, sauna, jacuzzi and hammam further contribute to a truly enjoyable stay.
The cleanliness of the hotel, including both rooms and shared areas, receives high praise, underscored by a commitment to impeccable hygiene and a welcoming atmosphere. The attentive and friendly staff consistently enhance the guest experience, providing efficient, warm service and making travelers feel genuinely cared for.
While the WiFi service has room for improvement with some guests experiencing connectivity issues, the hotel excels in offering a top-notch spa and wellness area. Guests appreciate the relaxing ambiance, well-maintained facilities and complimentary access to the pool, sauna, jacuzzi and hammam, making it a perfect spot for unwinding.
The hotel's pool is frequently described as superb, large and clean, adding to the relaxation experience alongside the heated jacuzzi and spa faculties. The availability of convenient parking, both free and paid, contributes positively to guests' stay.
Families find Hôtel des 2 Gares particularly accommodating with spacious family rooms, a dedicated playroom and an overall cozy, family-friendly environment. For skiing enthusiasts, the hotel offers good transport services to the ski slopes and exceptional relaxation amenities post-skiing.
Overall, Hôtel des 2 Gares offers a comfortable, well-rounded and strategically located destination with excellent service, making it a standout choice for all travelers.
