Ibis budget Orly Rungis garners positive reviews for its prime location and convenience, particularly for travelers needing quick access to Orly Airport. Guests value the close proximity to the airport, the efficient free shuttle service and the nearby highways and public transport links. Despite minor accessibility challenges without a car, the tranquil and safe surroundings contribute to a peaceful stay, making it an ideal choice for those on layovers or with early flights.
The breakfast receives mixed reviews but is generally acknowledged as good value for money, offering items like croissants, bread, fruit salad, juices, yogurt and coffee. The breakfast room's space limitations and the lack of variety are noted, as well as inconvenient timings for early travelers. Nevertheless, the cleanliness and quality of the breakfast are well-received.
Guests appreciate the dining options both at the hotel and nearby, including the convenience of heating up dinners and restaurant discounts. The presence of a McDonald's and other restaurants in the vicinity adds to the variety, making dining a hassle-free experience.
Rooms are deemed clean, functional and comfortable, although compact. The cleanliness is often praised with well-maintained and renovated spaces. However, the small size and lack of storage space may pose a challenge for those with more luggage. Despite these minor drawbacks and occasional maintenance issues, the rooms provide good value for money and a peaceful night's rest thanks to effective soundproofing.
The hotel staff is generally seen as friendly, helpful and attentive, enhancing the overall guest experience. Positive interactions and professionalism from the staff contribute significantly to the welcoming atmosphere. While there are occasional mentions of unresponsiveness, the overall sentiment towards the staff is favorable.
The Wi-Fi service is mostly effective, fast and stable with good connectivity, particularly around the reception area. Nevertheless, there are instances where the Wi-Fi is either weak or slow during peak hours, occasionally leading to connectivity problems. Despite this, the majority of guests find the Wi-Fi satisfactory for their needs.
Parking is a notable benefit, offering ample, accessible and secure spaces. Features like the closed gate at night and a security guard enhance the safety and convenience of parking. Minor issues such as narrow spaces and occasional malfunctions are mentioned but do not significantly detract from the positive experience overall.
Beds are frequently highlighted for their comfort with many guests enjoying a good night's sleep. The firmness and cleanliness of the beds receive praise, though some guests find the mattresses too firm or hard. The occasional issue of unm9ade bunk beds and worn-out mattresses is noted but does not overshadow the overall positive feedback.
Accessibility is a strong point of the hotel, catering well to guests with disabilities. Features like wheelchair-accessible rooms, a frequent and convenient shuttle service to the airport, user-friendly parking and proximity to public transport are appreciated. The 24/7 accessibility and modern amenities enhance the guest experience, despite mixed reviews regarding bathroom designs.
As a dog-friendly hotel, ibis budget Orly Rungis accommodates guests traveling with pets, making their stay comfortable and convenient. Clean rooms and nearby dining options further contribute to the overall positive experience for both human and canine guests.
In summary, ibis budget Orly Rungis is a practical, convenient and affordable option for travelers. Its location near Orly Airport, comfortable rooms, friendly staff and various positive amenities make it a favored choice for short stays and layovers.
