The hotel is situated in a fantastic spot in Chester within easy walking distance of the city centre and its attractions, as well as being well-placed for access to the motorway. The surrounding neighbourhood is picturesque and the hotel is in a great location for exploring the local area, including restaurants and shops. The rooms are comfortable, clean and tidy with plenty of tea and coffee provided. The staff are friendly and welcoming and guests appreciate the attention to cleanliness. Although Bowman Lodge doesn't offer breakfast due to Covid restrictions, there are plenty of dining options nearby. The beds are comfortable, but there may be some inconsistencies in mattress firmness. Overall, Bowman Lodge is a lovely little place to stay for a weekend in Chester.
