The pool at Camden Valley Inn received a mix of feedback from guests. Many appreciated the very clean, inviting and beautiful pool with comments highlighting it as a perfect spot to relax and cool off. Visitors often mentioned how much they loved the large, great swimming pool, noting it as a significant reason for choosing the hotel. The spa bath also received praise for being amazing and perfect for relaxation.
However, there were some drawbacks noted by guests. The pool water was unheated, making it too cold for regular swimming during certain times of the year. There were also mentions of the pool sometimes being closed or unusable, which was disappointing, particularly for families with children eager to swim. Additionally, issues such as too much chlorine, which left the water feeling toxic and occasional cleanliness problems like being covered in duck poo, were pointed out. Despite these issues, amenities like towels for the pool were appreciated and overall, the pool was considered a nice bonus for many guests.
