Hotel Eclipse, situated in a prime central location, offers easy access to public transportation and proximity to downtown, making it convenient for those looking to explore. Guests appreciate the nearby stores, food outlets and essential amenities with special commendation for the private parking available in the city center. However, it's worth noting concerns about the surrounding area's safety, particularly at night.
The rooms at Hotel Eclipse receive mixed feedback. While guests frequently praise the impeccable cleanliness and the attentiveness of the staff, the rooms are described as small and basic, lacking essential amenities and windows, which can result in a stuffy atmosphere. Issues such as uncomfortable beds, cold water in the bathrooms and occasional heating problems have also been reported. Despite these drawbacks, the price-to-quality ratio is generally satisfactory for short stays, especially for couples.
Cleanliness is a strong point at Hotel Eclipse with consistent positive reviews about the well-maintained rooms and bathrooms. The clean bed linens and towels contribute to a comfortable stay and the staff's attentiveness further enhances the overall atmosphere. However, there was an isolated mention of an unpleasant smell on the second floor.
Staff interactions at Hotel Eclipse offer a mixed bag of experiences. Many guests highlight the attention, kindness and friendliness of the owner and staff, creating a welcoming environment. However, some visitors have experienced rudeness and a lack of empathy, particularly at the reception, leading to a less consistent service quality. Additionally, noise levels have been a concern for some guests.
The hotel provides secure and organized parking facilities, which is a valued feature for many visitors. The parking area is clean and offers peace of mind, although it can be narrow and challenging for larger vehicles. Despite occasional limitations in parking availability, the convenience of the hotel's central location is appreciated.
The beds at Hotel Eclipse also receive mixed reviews. While some guests find them comfortable and suitable for a restful night's sleep, others have reported issues such as old-smelling, noisy beds with worn-out springs. The lack of sufficient covers has also been noted, which might not suit all preferences.
In summary, Hotel Eclipse offers a centrally located, clean and convenient option with some significant strengths and areas that need improvement. It is well-suited for short stays, particularly for those prioritizing location and cleanliness, but potential guests should be aware of the basic nature of the accommodations and the area's safety concerns.
