One of the highlights of a stay at The Headland Hotel and Spa has to be the exceptional swimming pools. There's even an adult-only pool area, perfect for those seeking a peaceful haven away from the hustle and bustle. However, during busier times, some were turned away, so it's worth timing your swim accordingly. Overall, the hotel swimming pool is great, offering a nice and quiet place to unwind. Guests raved about the new aqua club, calling it amazing, while others enjoyed the spa and gym alongside the pool. The new swimming pool facilities were also a hit with some saying they were fantastic. All in all, no matter which pool you choose, you're in for a treat.

The Priory Lodge Hotel has a lovely swimming pool that is perfect for a refreshing dip on a hot day or a nice swim anytime. It's a great added bonus to an already fantastic location for those who love to swim, as well as for families with kids who can't get enough of pool time. The heated pool was a particular favourite with children, while others enjoyed the outdoor pool and sundeck. The pool area is a fabulous sun trap, complete with plenty of sun beds and space for lounging. However, some guests reported that the pool looked murky or was too cold, so it's not a complete hit with everyone. Overall, the hotel's pool facilities are a nice e bonus to its pleasant bar area and proximity to the beach and shops.

Guests at Atlantic Hotel Newquay are generally satisfied with the leisure facilities, including the pool and spa. The hotel boasts both indoor and outdoor pools, although some guests noted that the outdoor pool appeared "tired" and the area around it was not very clean. However, those who used the pool and spa found them to be well-maintained and enjoyable. Some guests even commented that the pool was one of the warmest they had ever experienced. However, there were also some negative comments about cleanliness with some guests noting bits and scum in the pool and Jacuzzi and empty soap containers in the pool shower. Some guests also felt that the swimming pool was too shallow for adults. Overall, guests who were able to enjoy the pool and spa had a positive experience, although there were some cleanliness issues that the hotel could improve upon.
