YMMO - Paris 12 offers a strategically convenient location, praised for its proximity to public transportation including the metro and tram, allowing easy access to various parts of Paris. Guests frequently appreciate the quiet neighborhood, well-served by supermarkets and bakeries. This makes it a favorable spot for travelers looking to efficiently explore the city, though thin walls and occasional noise disturbances are noted.
The apartment itself is spacious with a charming layout and complete amenities. It features a unique basement with a shower, toilet and foosball table, adding an element of enjoyment. The cleanliness of the rooms and welcoming ambiance largely meet guest expectations, though issues such as dusty beds, unemptied trash cans and a persistent smell of dampness have been reported. Despite occasional maintenance concerns like clogged showers and non-closable doors, the accommodation retains a distinct charm with its spaciousness and straightforward access system.
However, cleanliness has been a significant concern with frequent mentions of dust, cobwebs, mold and dirty linens. Reports of urine-soaked mattresses and pest control issues further mar the experience. Although some guests appreciated the intervention of a cleaning lady, overall hygiene standards need improvement.
Staff responsiveness is mixed with few instances of prompt service overshadowed by numerous complaints about unresponsiveness and poor communication. Many guests reported difficulties in contacting the management and dealing with insufficiently provided amenities and cleaning management.
Wi-Fi service at YMMO - Paris 12 is a major drawback with consistent reports of guests unable to access the internet, facing unresponsive management in resolving these issues.
Beds receive mixed feedback with some guests appreciating the comfort and fresh linens, while others found the high and awkward layout challenging. The unique design, though appealing to some, can feel unsafe and precarious due to rusty nails and floating structures. Thin walls contribute to noise disturbances, affecting the overall comfort.
YMMO - Paris 12, being an adult-only accommodation, offers a unique experience suitable for couples or solo travelers. However, steep wooden steps and other safety concerns may pose hazards to elderly or disabled guests. While the location and distinct layout have their appeal, significant improvements in cleanliness, maintenance and customer service are necessary to enhance the guest experience.
