Hotel Las Puertas de Tepoztlan enjoys widespread praise for its prime location in the heart of Tepoztlán. Nestled on a serene side street yet close to the main attractions, the hotel allows guests to explore the local culture effortlessly with everything within walking distance. The beautiful and exceptional views from the rooms and restaurant further enhance the charm.
The breakfast, while appreciated for its fresh and delicious offerings, stunning terrace views and generous portions, can be slow and lacks variety in its menu choices. Despite these shortcomings, the overall quality of the food leaves a positive impression on guests.
Rooms at the hotel are described as spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. They are clean and well-maintained, offering a cozy and elegant ambiance. While minor issues like noisy mini fridges and occasional cleanliness lapses are noted, the overall feedback highlights the appealing nature of the accommodations.
Cleanliness generally meets guests' expectations with specific praise for well-kept rooms and facilities. Some issues like unclean cushions and jacuzzi areas need attention, but the friendly and attentive staff significantly enhance the positive experience.
The exceptional service provided by the staff is a standout feature with many guests highlighting their friendliness and willingness to assist. Despite a few isolated criticisms, the overall sentiment is that the staff's attentiveness greatly contributes to an enjoyable stay.
The hotel offers free WiFi, though it is limited to public areas and can be inconsistent. The spa features a nice pool and recommended massages, though the jacuzzis require better maintenance. The pool is generally well-received for its cleanliness and beauty, but it would benefit from a heated option and more consistent upkeep.
On-site parking is secure and appreciated for its convenience, though minor enhancements could improve its overall quality. The beds receive mixed reviews, being described as very comfortable by some and problematic by others due to issues like creaky frames and hard mattresses. Despite these concerns, the hotel's overall facilities, friendly staff and central location are commonly appreciated aspects enhancing guests' experiences.
