If you're considering a stay at the The Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas, you might want to take a closer look at the guest rooms. While some reviewers raved about the lovely accommodations and large rooms, others felt that the furnishings were outdated and cookie-cutter in style. Unfortunately, many guests found the rooms to be uncomfortable as well with stiff towels, scratchy robes and uncomfortable mattresses. Even worse, some rooms were equipped with inferior televisions and old technology and some had only double-sized beds. To make matters worse, pay-per-view options came at an unreasonable price point. And while the bathrooms were functional, many guests found the showers to be tiny and lacking in modern amenities. Ultimately, while the resort has its perks, the rooms might not quite live up to the brand's reputation.
