NRMA Blue Dolphin Yamba Holiday Resort is celebrated for its exceptional location, set in a picturesque area close to the beach and the charming town of Yamba. Guests appreciate the serene surroundings, gorgeous views and proximity to local attractions, making it a perfect retreat for families and those seeking tranquility by the water. The resort boasts outstanding facilities, including multiple pools, a heated pool and even a swim-up bar, ensuring endless entertainment for both kids and adults.
The accommodations at the resort receive mixed reviews with many guests praising the clean and spacious newly renovated cabins, especially the superior villas near the river. However, some cabins are noted as run down and in need of updates. Despite these issues, most visitors found the accommodations comfortable and suitable for a short stay.
Cleanliness is one of the resort's strongest points with guests frequently mentioning the spotless and modern accommodations, well-maintained facilities and tidy grounds. This emphasis on cleanliness is complemented by the friendly and accommodating staff, who are often described as exceptionally helpful and welcoming, adding to the positive experience of the stay.
However, the WiFi service at the resort has been a significant drawback with many guests reporting unreliable and slow internet access. This issue detracts from the otherwise enjoyable stay for those looking to remain connected online.
The pool facilities are a highlight, particularly for families with beautiful pools, a water park, a climbing wall and a jumping pillow providing endless entertainment for children. While a few guests found the pool temperature to be colder than expected, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive regarding the swimming facilities and play areas.
Beds at the resort receive mixed reviews with many guests finding them comfortable, while others, particularly in the cabins, reported issues with bed size and comfort. Despite this, many visitors reported having a restful and satisfactory stay.
The resort's amenities are very family-friendly with impressive game rooms, playgrounds and pools catering to younger guests. Although some minor issues such as cold pool temperatures and occasional closures of play facilities were noted, the overall feedback highlights the resort's commitment to a fun and relaxing environment for families.
In summary, NRMA Blue Dolphin Yamba Holiday Resort is well-regarded for its fantastic location, excellent facilities, cleanliness and friendly staff, making it a delightful and family-friendly holiday destination. Improvements in WiFi service and bedding comfort in cabins could further enhance the guest experience.
