The breakfast experience at the inn is generally positive with guests enjoying a hearty variety of quality options including self-made waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon and a range of beverages. Despite minor complaints about the crowded breakfast room and the use of disposable dishware, many appreciate the satisfying start to their day.
Dining also scores well with guests praising recommended spots like the Oakhurst Grill & Whiskey Lounge for its good food and service. The area offers numerous other dining options, ensuring that visitors can enjoy diverse meals during their stay.
Room accommodations receive favorable feedback for their spaciousness and cleanliness, equipped with essential amenities that cater to families and groups. While some rooms might benefit from updated decor and improved maintenance, guests generally find them comfortable and practical.
The hotel gets commendations for its cleanliness with rooms and common areas often described as tidy and well-maintained. Some minor issues were noted, such as outdated carpets and occasional musty smells, but overall, the high standards of hygiene and comfort stand out.
Staff at The Oakhurst Inn are highly rated for their friendliness and helpfulness, often going above and beyond to ensure guests have a pleasant stay. While there were sparse mentions of occasional unresponsiveness, the majority of reviewers found the team to be welcoming and attentive.
The Wi-Fi service presents a mixed bag of reviews with some guests praising its strength and speed, while others experienced weak signals and inconsistency, particularly in rooms further from the main areas.
The pool area is another highlight, offering a clean and well-maintained space for relaxation. Though some guests mentioned the need for refurbishment and seasonal closures, the pool and Jacuzzi are generally appreciated as welcome amenities after a day of outdoor activities.
Families find the inn exceptionally accommodating with spacious family rooms and a welcoming atmosphere. Descriptions of large, comfortable accommodations and family-friendly staff contribute to the overall satisfaction of families visiting the area.
Beds receive general praise for their comfort and cleanliness with many guests enjoying restful sleep on the spacious, cozy bedding. However, some found the mattresses too soft and occasional maintenance issues with beds were mentioned.
Business travelers find The Oakhurst Inn suitable for work-related stays, thanks to its clean and well-maintained business facilities, including a functional business center and meeting areas. Fast internet and room amenities like desks add to its appeal despite minor drawbacks like dim lighting and a cramped breakfast area.
