Club Esse Palmasera, nestled between the mountains and the stunning Gulf of Orosei, offers an attractive location for beach lovers and adventurers alike. Its prime positioning provides direct access to pristine beaches with the charming town of Cala Gonone and its amenities just a short walk away. For those seeking more activity, the hotel's proximity to natural reserves makes it a suitable base for hiking, excursions and diving.
The breakfast service receives mixed reviews with some guests praising a varied and abundant selection of dishes, including vegan options. However, numerous reviews point out a lack of variety and quality, along with organizational issues. The dinner experiences are similar with commendations for specific dishes and meats but criticism for repetitive menus, lack of flavor and chaotic dining conditions.
Rooms are generally praised for their spaciousness and cleanliness with many offering stunning sea views and necessary amenities like air conditioning. However, some drawbacks include outdated decor and minor maintenance issues. Cleanliness across the resort garners positive feedback with regularly maintained rooms and communal areas, although some areas show signs of needing renovation.
Staff friendliness and service receive commendations, particularly for the animation team and housekeeping. Nonetheless, there are inconsistent reports of unprofessional or unfriendly interactions, mainly related to the dining staff and reception.
The Wi-Fi service is a noted area for improvement with many guests finding the connection subpar and inconsistent, especially within guest rooms. Conversely, the pool facilities are highly praised for their size, cleanliness and scenic setting, although some minor maintenance issues exist.
Beach access is another highlight, featuring a clean and well-equipped coastal area, though the pebbly nature of the beach and the steep staircase access may pose challenges for some. The resort's tennis courts and other sports facilities are well-received for their quality and convenience, adding to the variety of activities available for guests.
In summary, Club Esse Palmasera is a well-located resort offering a blend of relaxation and activity opportunities, particularly suited for those who appreciate beautiful surroundings and easy access to local attractions. While there are areas in need of improvement, such as dining services and Wi-Fi connectivity, the resort’s positive attributes largely contribute to a satisfying holiday experience.
