Comfort Inn & Suites Atlanta-Smyrna is favored for its convenient location, providing easy access to popular attractions such as Truist Park, downtown Atlanta, and Six Flags. Guests particularly appreciate the proximity to various dining options, making it suitable for both leisure and business travelers. The hotel's strategic location is often highlighted as one of its strongest points, despite some noise concerns.
The breakfast offerings receive varied feedback, meeting basic expectations for many but lacking diversity and appeal for others. While a friendly breakfast host adds a positive touch, some guests find the service and selection below par, prompting them to explore alternatives locally.
Accommodations at the hotel are spacious and feature comfortable bedding, enhancing guest relaxation. However, there are notable cleanliness and maintenance issues within the property. Reports of unpleasant odors, inadequate housekeeping, and maintenance problems like leaking faucets and outdated furniture suggest areas that need improvement.
While the entryway offers a clean and welcoming impression, room cleanliness is inconsistent, with complaints ranging from mildew smells to stained carpets and even occasional pest issues. These concerns, combined with maintenance shortcomings, indicate a pressing need for improved standards in housekeeping and upkeep.
On a positive note, the hotel staff is frequently lauded for their kindness and attentiveness. Front desk employees and breakfast staff are often described as friendly and accommodating, significantly enhancing the guest experience. Although a few guests have encountered noise issues and less favorable service interactions, the majority of visitors appreciate the staff's efforts to ensure a pleasant stay. Overall, Comfort Inn & Suites Atlanta-Smyrna provides a well-located and reasonably comfortable option, though improvements in cleanliness and maintenance could significantly elevate guest satisfaction.
