Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Hotel LA PLACE, nestled in the picturesque old town, boasts a prime location that draws praise for its charm and convenience. Overlooking a lively square with abundant dining options, it offers easy access to local attractions such as the Abbey of Noirlac and provides ample free parking.
Guests commend the spacious, clean and well-decorated rooms, equipped with modern amenities including air conditioning, coffee makers and microwaves. The rooms' stylish decor and large bathrooms enhance the overall comfort, while effective soundproofing and a quiet location ensure a peaceful stay. The hotel's high standards of cleanliness are notably consistent throughout, contributing to an inviting atmosphere.
The breakfast offerings, featuring fresh baguettes and croissants, are positively received for their simplicity and adequacy. Visitors appreciate the convenient self-service option, though some feel the breakfast could benefit from greater variety and occasional freshness improvements.
The on-site restaurant is a highlight with guests lauding its delicious meals, cozy ambiance and friendly service. Dining on the terrace adds to the pleasant experience, despite minor drawbacks such as limited vegetarian options and restricted dining hours. The restaurant's popularity necessitates advance reservations, especially since it does not serve dinner past 8:30 PM and is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
The hotel's staff consistently receives accolades for their friendliness, attentiveness and warm hospitality, contributing to a welcoming environment. However, the hotel's free wifi service receives frequent criticism for its connectivity issues, impacting some guests' overall experience.
Families find Hotel LA PLACE an ideal choice, enjoying its homely feel, accessibility and good value for money. Minor areas for improvement include the comfort of extra beds. The comfortable beds and quality bedding are widely praised, though a few guests find some mattresses too soft.
Overall, Hotel LA PLACE combines a charming location, high standards of cleanliness, comfortable accommodations and excellent service, making it a highly recommended choice for travelers seeking a pleasant and inviting stay.
