The Taj Malabar Resort & Spa in Cochin boasts a stunning infinity pool that overlooks the backwaters and offers a breathtaking view of the sunset. The poolside is the most pleasant place to be with lovely gardens that make for a perfect outdoor eating area. While there may not be enough sunbeds for all guests, the pool itself is fantastic and very clean with a lifeguard on duty all the time.
Guests who loved using the pool were appreciative of the great service provided by Sabair who ensured that they had fresh towels whenever required. Also, the bar offering 2 for 1 cocktails during evenings was an added delight. Although the pool is not temperature-controlled as one might expect from a hotel of Taj Malabar's stature, the amenities including the pool are nice. Guests especially enjoyed the free boat ride, high tea and cultural events. The backwater view is amazing and makes for a memorable stay at this resort.

Bloom Boutique Waterfront Fort Kochi offers a swimming pool that, while smaller in size, has potential for a charming experience if properly maintained. Some guests found the pool to be an amazing addition to their stay, enjoying the luxury of having a pool available to unwind by. However, there were several mentions about maintenance issues, with guests noting that the water often appeared cloudy and lacked cleanliness. In some instances, the pool was reported to be out of service or undergoing maintenance, which affected its usability. Overall, while the pool is a valued feature of the hotel, consistent upkeep could enhance the guest experience significantly.
