Hosteria Maryland is highly regarded for its exceptional location, which offers convenience and proximity to key attractions in Posadas. The hotel's unbeatable position close to the waterfront and other city highlights make it a practical and cost-effective choice for travelers.
The staff at Hosteria Maryland receive consistent praise for their friendliness and attentiveness, significantly enhancing the guest experience. Standout individuals like Ivan and the owner go above and beyond to ensure a welcoming atmosphere, contributing to the hotel's strong reputation for hospitality.
While the breakfast experience varies among guests, the morning staff's courteous service earns positive remarks. Although the breakfast offerings are basic, featuring staples such as bread, croissants, coffee, and tea or mate, they provide a satisfactory start to the day for many guests.
The rooms present more of a mixed experience. Though some guests appreciate the organization and comfort of the rooms, particularly the quality mattresses, many accommodations appear outdated. Issues such as old air conditioning units, maintenance concerns, and inadequate cleanliness are frequently mentioned. Despite these challenges, the affordability of the rooms aligns with expectations for budget-conscious travelers prepared for a less refined stay.
Cleanliness remains a common concern, with reports of mold, dust, and aged furnishings detracting from the overall experience. Guests have noted the need for improved maintenance and cleanliness to enhance the value of their stay.
Overall, Hosteria Maryland appeals to those seeking an affordable option with a prime location and outstanding service, although potential guests should be aware of the challenges related to room conditions and cleanliness.
