Las Eras Nest Hostel enjoys a stellar reputation largely due to its stunning seaside location, offering guests a tranquil escape with breathtaking ocean views. Situated almost directly on the beach, the hostel provides a serene spot to unwind by offering numerous outdoor spaces, including a terrace where guests can savor the sunrise. Its proximity to the South Airport, just a 20-minute drive away, makes it accessible while maintaining its quiet, remote charm. The atmosphere is enhanced by a vibrant communal area where guests can engage in free activities, adding to the sense of community.
The hostel’s breakfast offerings receive high praise for their variety and abundance, catering to diverse dietary preferences. Dining with an ocean view elevates the experience, while complimentary tea and coffee provide a warm start. Homemade dinners are also a highlight, with guests commending their tastiness and affordability, despite occasional small portion sizes. The combination of delightful meals and numerous free activities, including snorkeling and hiking, contributes to a fulfilling stay.
Guest reviews about room accommodations present a mixed experience, with positive notes on cleanliness and ocean views. Nevertheless, space can be limited, especially in dormitories, occasionally impacting privacy and comfort. The hostel’s cleanliness receives mixed reviews, with some guests noting well-maintained rooms, while others point out areas needing improvement. Despite occasional lapses, the overall tidy atmosphere and friendly, welcoming staff create a positive environment, with the team consistently praised for their hospitality and attentiveness.
The hostel’s pool is a nice addition, offering a clean and private space for relaxation. Its saltwater feature, alongside the nearby dining and lounging areas, provides a refreshing alternative. However, beds receive a mixed assessment, with comfortable mattresses but unstable frames noted in the bunk beds, suggesting room for improvement in the overall setup.
In summary, Las Eras Nest Hostel stands out for its incredible location and community spirit, offering guests a memorable escape with beautiful oceanfront views, engaging activities, and delightful dining.
