We are an independent family-run hotel situated on the bank of the Elk River, right off Hwy #3, the closest maintown accommodation to the ski hill (Fernie Alpine Resort), and only a short 10-min walk to Downtown’s shopping and restaurants. Our mission is to become the most sustainable hotel in BC by 2025. This mission is to ensure our impact on the environment is minimal, and to protect our biodiversity, environment and community for years to come. We have a number of initiatives in place, the latest being our 53.4kW solar panel system to help power the property with clean, renewable energy.
We have a number of other great initiatives in place which you can check out here In addition to energy efficiency and climate change mitigation, we work to support our community too. Every year, we give back over $25,000.00 to local causes and events including youth sports clubs, cultural events and student scholarships.
The hotel is run with value and convenience in mind and we invest regularly to ensure our guests have the best experience possible. This means that we are continually adding to our offer. Our guests can take advantage of all our great amenities such as our BBQ and covered outdoor sun deck as well as a modern kitchen and dining room for guests who want to cook their own meals. We also have 2 electric vehicle charging stations, a large outdoor hot tub, pet-friendly rooms, free WIFI, and much more. Featuring free toiletries, this family room includes a private bathroom with a bath, a shower and a hairdryer. Guests will find a stovetop, a refrigerator, kitchenware and an oven in the kitchenette.
