The Hampton Inn & Suites - Orange Beach is a great choice for a short stay with reasonable prices and a good breakfast. The hotel offers a convenient tea station available all day for guests. Despite ongoing renovations and a closed pool, the new rooms were very clean, although a bit outdated. The service was passable, despite some issues with the thermostat and room maintenance. Some guests were disappointed with the lack of daily housekeeping services and the pool and hot tub in need of cleaning or renovation. However, the tiki bar offered drinks that could be brought to the pool and beach chairs and umbrellas were available for rent. The location of the hotel was a negative aspect for some with constant noise and a motel-like feeling to the property. Finally, some felt that the hotel was overpriced and not a good value.
