Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Logis Hôtel Restaurant - Le Clos Deauville Saint Gatien impresses with its excellent location in a picturesque, tranquil village conveniently situated between Deauville, Trouville and Honfleur. The hotel benefits from its beautiful, well-maintained gardens, typical regional architecture and close proximity to the Deauville St Gatien Airport, providing both serenity and easy access to nearby attractions. Amenities such as the pool, sauna and hammam, along with welcoming staff, further enhance the overall experience.
The breakfast offerings receive mixed feedback. While many guests describe it as hearty and enjoyable with a good variety, others criticize its cost and value, noting limited choices and non-fresh options. However, the dinner experience generally garners positive reviews with guests praising the delicious cuisine, excellent service and affordability, despite some isolated concerns regarding portion size and food quality.
The rooms present a mixed picture. Many appreciate the comfortable bedding and clean, serene environment, particularly rooms overlooking the pool or those with unique attic designs. Nonetheless, some guests pointed out that the rooms are small, dated and in need of refurbishment with issues like tiny bathrooms and poor soundproofing affecting their stay.
Cleanliness reviews are varied with positive remarks about the well-maintained outdoor pool and overall premises, but concerns arise concerning room upkeep with reports of dusty areas, dirty carpets and unclean pools. Despite this, the staff consistently receive high praise for their friendliness, attentiveness and warmth, significantly contributing to the positive guest experience.
The spa area, featuring a hammam, sauna and pool, is popular among guests for its relaxation offerings, although some note that it requires better maintenance. Similarly, the pool facilities, including both indoor and outdoor options, are appreciated, especially by families, though there are mentions of cold water and cleanliness issues.
Overall, Logis Hôtel Restaurant - Le Clos Deauville Saint Gatien offers a comfortable and welcoming stay with its prime location, pleasant amenities and dedicated staff, making it a commendable choice for travelers exploring the beautiful region. While some areas need attention, particularly in terms of room and spa maintenance, the positive aspects significantly outweigh the negatives.
