The spa facilities at DOMA Portugal receive mixed reviews from guests. Many appreciate the lovely and beautiful spa area, noting that it met their expectations and the massage offerings were fantastic and left them feeling relaxed. Guests also enjoyed good sauna facilities and remarked that the common areas, gardens and hammocks added to the overall pleasant experience.
However, some found the spa to be small and less optimal with specific criticisms about the limited number of loungers and the older version of the jacuzzi. In some instances, guests encountered operational issues, such as a broken Turkish bath, ongoing maintenance and unexpected closures. Cleanliness concerns were mentioned, particularly in relation to the outdoor pool and the hotel's pet-friendly policy affecting the restaurant area. Despite these drawbacks, many guests were still impressed by the spa's relaxing atmosphere.

The spa at Aethos Hotel Ericeira is a charming highlight of the hotel, offering guests a fantastic experience with its standout features. The outdoor spa area, paired with a breathtaking sauna that overlooks the sea, leaves guests in awe. Adding to the allure is the ice bath, enhancing the spa's variety of offerings. Despite some feedback on the spa's size relative to the hotel's prestigious standing and an instance of the sauna being temporarily out of order, the service remains impeccable. Visitors are provided with essentials like towels, bathrobes, and slippers, ensuring a comfortable experience. Notably, the massages, particularly from a therapist named Ines, receive high praise, while the entire spa team is applauded for their exceptional service. Overall, the spa is highly recommended, contributing significantly to the hotel's appeal.
