Palazzo Esedra presents itself as a four-star hotel but seems to struggle in fully meeting the expectations associated with this rating. While the structure is described as very beautiful and deserving of a four-star rating, the overall experience falls short in several areas. The quality of service and cleanliness has been noted as good, but there are significant inconsistencies that prevent it from fully aligning with four-star standards.
One of the recurring criticisms is the breakfast, which many found insufficient for a hotel of this category. Guests expressed disappointment over the lack of variety and hot options with some finding it below average even by local standards. The issue is compounded by additional charges, such as a €5 fee for an omelette, which further detracts from the experience.
Room conditions and amenities also appear to need improvement with some noting poor room conditions and subpar pillow quality. There were also comments on the lack of provided essentials like bottled water, which is typically expected at this level.
Additionally, the services at the bar and restaurant were not up to the expected standard with guests pointing out that they could not charge expenses to their room and the menu remained mostly unchanged during their stay.
Finally, there were practical issues such as the lack of external signage to easily locate the hotel, which added to the overall inconvenience.
In summary, while Palazzo Esedra shows potential with its impressive structure and good quality service, it falls short in several key areas preventing it from being a true four-star experience.

The Best Western JFK Hotel presents a mixed bag of experiences that may surprise guests expecting a traditional 4-star standard. Despite its shortcomings, such as limited bathroom amenities and areas that fail to meet the cleanliness expectations one might have for a hotel of its rating, it does offer some redeeming qualities. Visitors appreciate the overall value for money and emphasize the hotel's friendly staff, which creates a welcoming atmosphere. The hotel serves as a convenient base thanks to its location near the tube, facilitating easy access to various destinations. However, some aspects, like the breakfast, leave room for improvement, especially in providing more quality options, including gluten-free varieties. Its potential is evident, and with some enhancements, the hotel could align more closely with guests' expectations for a true 4-star experience.
