The Macdonald Inchyra Hotel & Spa is a great choice for travelers looking to explore the Central Belt of Scotland with a convenient location close to the motorway and Edinburgh airport. While the breakfast and dinner experiences were hit and miss, the staff consistently received high praise for their exceptional service. The rooms were also a mixed bag with some guests finding them fantastic and others in need of refurbishment. The cleanliness of the hotel was generally good, although lacking in attention to detail in some areas. The spa facilities and pool were generally well-received, although some guests found them overcrowded or lacking amenities. The hotel is also a great choice for families and dog owners with spacious family rooms and separate lodges for pets. While the hotel may not live up to its 4-star rating, it's a decent choice for an overnight break or functions held within the hotel.
