Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Hotel Restaurant Mas Roig - Adults only offers a serene and charming retreat perfect for couples seeking a relaxing getaway in the heart of Costa Brava. Set in a historic 17th-century building, its prime location provides easy access to the picturesque town of Pals and stunning beaches like Begur and Aiguablava, all while offering excellent sound insulation despite being near a busy road. Parking facilities are ample, further enhancing the convenience of exploring the surrounding attractions.
The hotel shines with its exceptional breakfast experience. Guests frequently praise the variety and quality of fresh, local produce, complemented by friendly and attentive staff. A minor point for some is the late start of breakfast service, though the overall satisfaction remains high. Dinner at the renowned on-site restaurant is equally impressive, offering refined Catalan cuisine with exquisite presentation, although service occasionally falls short of culinary standards.
Accommodations are noted for their comfort and cleanliness. Rooms are well-equipped and charming, combining spaciousness with coziness. Guests appreciate the modern amenities within the beautifully renovated building. The hotel’s grounds are meticulously maintained, featuring lush gardens and a refreshing swimming pool that provides a tranquil oasis, often empty for private relaxation.
The exceptional staff contributes significantly to the hotel's welcoming atmosphere, consistently praised for their friendliness, professionalism, and attentive service. Beds receive varied feedback due to differing personal comfort preferences, but generally, the bedding is regarded as comfortable.
Overall, Es Portal Restaurant i Hotel Boutique offers a beautiful farmhouse setting that enhances the allure of a boutique hotel experience. The combination of its charming atmosphere, excellent food, and attentive service makes it a superb choice for those looking to unwind and enjoy a memorable retreat.
