Summarized by AI
The Virgin Hotels New York City offers a rooftop pool experience that is often highlighted as one of the key features of the hotel. Many guests enjoy the stunning views of the iconic Empire State Building from the pool area, describing it as priceless and best part of their stay. The pool itself is frequently noted for its immaculate condition and relaxing atmosphere, making it a great spot to unwind after a long day of sightseeing. Visitors appreciate the pool's ambiance, mentioning the beautiful views and lovely bar as noteworthy attributes.
Despite these positives, there are some challenges and drawbacks. The pool size is often described as smaller than anticipated, which leads to overcrowding and difficulty finding seating, particularly during peak times. Some guests have pointed out that the pool was closed for private parties or simply not open at all during their visit, leading to disappointment. Additionally, the hotel has altered its policy regarding exclusive access for guests, and the pool is sometimes open to the public, further contributing to the crowded conditions.
Overall, while the rooftop pool at Virgin Hotels New York City is considered a highlight with its fantastic views and relaxing vibe, potential visitors should be aware of its limited size and occasional unavailability. The combination of its features provides an enticing escape amidst the bustling city, yet guests may need to navigate overcrowding and reservation challenges to fully enjoy the experience.
