Asterias Village is a lovely hotel situated in a perfect location between two traditional Greek villages, Koutouloufari and Piskopiano. The landscapes are beautiful with a great view of the area. The hotel is in a very touristic spot, surrounded by taverns, cafes and shops. The beach and gym are no more than a 15-20 min walk away. The rooms are spacious with lovely views. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and tavernas in the area. The hotel is also close to Dinosauria park and the CRETEAquarium. Some guests found the location quite distant from Heraklion, but it's still worth staying as there is much to explore nearby. The hotel is perfect for couples, offering a romantic getaway with lots of things to do. However, some guests found the location not great due to the number of steps. Overall, the location of Asterias Village is fantastic, offering a charming and authentic Greek/cretan experience with lots of amenities nearby, making it an ideal spot to explore the northern, eastern and southeastern parts of the island.
