Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Leonard Room in Liège offers a well-located accommodation with easy access to the city's main attractions and local amenities. Just a 10 to 15-minute walk from the vibrant city center and close to public transportation, the hotel is conveniently situated for exploring the historic areas and enjoying nearby shops, cafés, bars and fast food outlets. The lively neighborhood adds to its charm, providing essential services even on Sundays despite some noise and minor inconveniences.
The rooms at Leonard Room are generally well-received for their cleanliness, spaciousness and comfort. Guests frequently note the neatness and coziness of the rooms, appreciating large, comfortable beds and the practicality of the accommodations. The walk-in shower is particularly highlighted for its convenience. Although some guests had concerns about thin mattresses, cigarette smoke smells and shared facilities, the overall sentiment towards room quality is positive with private bathrooms and value for money standing out.
Cleanliness reviews present a somewhat mixed picture. While individual rooms and bedding are often described as clean and fresh, shared amenities such as kitchens and communal areas have received criticisms for being poorly maintained. Issues like sticky floors, dirty walls and lingering smells were mentioned, indicating room for improvement in these areas.
The staff at Leonard Room are a standout feature, consistently praised for their friendliness, attentiveness and excellent communication. Guests appreciate the swift responses from the owner and staff, who are noted for their helpfulness and kindness. This positive interaction contributes significantly to the welcoming atmosphere of the hotel.
Wi-Fi performance at Leonard Room is inconsistent. While some guests report very good connections, others face challenges such as signal instability and lack of access, which can hinder online activities.
Bed experiences are mixed with many guests finding the beds comfortable and praising their large size. However, some encountered discomfort due to broken beds, soft mattresses and issues with bed cleanliness, including ripped sheets and burn marks.
In summary, Leonard Room offers a strategically located, affordable accommodation option with a friendly staff and comfortable rooms, though improvements in shared facility cleanliness and Wi-Fi consistency could enhance the overall guest experience.
