The Hofbrau Riverfront Hotel garners positive attention primarily for its picturesque location along the river. Guests appreciate the serene views from room balconies, and the strategic proximity to the town center offers both tranquility and accessibility to local attractions, enhancing the overall experience. The adjoining Hofbrau House Restaurant adds a layer of convenience for those interested in local dining.
Breakfast offerings are convenient but have room for improvement, as guests would prefer more variety beyond packaged items. Despite this, the inclusion of breakfast remains a valued perk. The hotel's rooms are appreciated for their recent upgrades in select areas, such as new furniture and large screen TVs, while comfortable beds with clean linens contribute to a restful stay for many visitors. Some rooms even feature luxury mattresses and king-size beds that guests find exceptionally comfortable.
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, particularly Mark and the on-duty manager, are praised by guests, who often note the accommodating nature and politeness of the front desk clerks. The staff’s efforts to ensure a positive experience stand out, despite isolated incidents affecting professionalism.
Although the hotel shows promise with ongoing renovations, concerns over cleanliness and maintenance persist, including cleanliness issues and outdated facilities. These challenges, coupled with inconsistent mattress comfort, highlight areas needing further development to match guest expectations fully.
Overall, the Hofbrau Riverfront Hotel holds potential as a charming riverside retreat, buoyed by its location and gradual updates. Continued improvements in breakfast variety, room upkeep, and staff professionalism would significantly enhance the guest experience.
