Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
De Luxe Aparthotel receives high praise for its prime location, conveniently close to the train station, city center and various amenities like restaurants, shops and attractions such as De Montfort Hall. Guests appreciate the ease of access to transport links and the quiet yet central setting, which contributes to a comfortable stay. The simple check-in process with pin codes and responsive staff further enhance the guest experience. Free nearby parking and good value for money add to the appeal of the accommodation.
The rooms themselves are noted for their modern decor and cleanliness upon arrival with guests finding the check-in process straightforward and appreciating the quiet atmosphere. However, there are recurring concerns about room sizes being smaller than expected, cleanliness inconsistencies and maintenance issues such as broken blinds and leaking roofs. Despite these drawbacks, some guests felt that their stay surpassed expectations, particularly those who valued the central location and stylish decor.
Cleanliness is a mixed aspect with positive remarks about some areas being extremely clean and well-maintained. Conversely, significant issues like dirty bed sheets, towels and shower cubicles, alongside broken fixtures, highlight a need for improved cleaning standards and maintenance.
Staff at De Luxe Aparthotel are frequently commended for their attentiveness, responsiveness and willingness to accommodate guests' needs. The team's friendliness and helpfulness, particularly the owner, contribute positively to the overall guest experience despite occasional mentions of unavailability.
Opinions on the beds vary with some guests finding them very comfortable and homely, while others report issues such as saggy or rough mattresses and unstable bed frames. Bedding conditions also appear inconsistent with a few complaints about crumbs and worn sheets.
In summary, De Luxe Aparthotel is well-situated for exploring the city, offering modern decor and a quiet environment. While there are some concerns regarding room size, cleanliness and maintenance, the attentive staff and overall convenience make it a practical choice for many visitors.
