The Rydges Palmerston - Darwin hotel boasts an awesome pool which was a welcome relief on hot days. It is a great size and well-maintained with a beautiful pool area and bar. Despite some slippery entry steps and occasional dirt, guests loved the facilities and upmarket vibe of the hotel, which included a poolside bar and restaurant. Families with children appreciated the separate pool for kids. The pool was a bit chilly, but still lovely to swim in and patrons could enjoy food and drinks poolside. The hotel offers all the amenities one would expect, including notice of pool cleaning in the morning. However, some lounge chairs were uncomfortable. Overall, guests enjoyed the decor, ambience and facilities of the hotel with the pool area being a highlight.
