Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Hotel Stary Zdrój is highly lauded for its serene and picturesque location, ideal for activities like hiking and mountain visits while still being conveniently close to the city center. The tranquil atmosphere, paired with proximity to local attractions and amenities, makes it a perfect blend of seclusion and convenience. Many guests appreciate the beautiful surrounding landscapes and the hotel's accessibility for car trips to regions such as the Czech Republic, Germany and the Polish mountains.
The breakfast experience is a highlight with guests praising the diverse and abundant buffet selection. The food is consistently described as delicious and home-cooked with decorative presentation adding to the morning enjoyment. Although there is some room for improvement, particularly with the fruit offerings and coffee quality, the breakfast generally ensures a satisfactory start to the day.
Dinner offerings are also well-received, noted for their homemade quality, excellent taste and generous portions. The soup selection receives special mention. However, some guests would prefer more flexibility with dining hours and better management of dessert timing. Despite these minor critiques, the cuisine’s overall quality and the chef’s efforts are greatly appreciated.
Rooms at Hotel Stary Zdrój garner praise for their cleanliness, unique decor and castle-like ambiance. The daily cleaning and spaciousness contribute to a well-maintained and inviting environment. While a few guests encountered minor issues like small room sizes or slightly worn furniture, the overall beauty, comfort and cleanliness of the rooms leave a positive impression.
Cleanliness is a consistent strength at the hotel with guests frequently highlighting the spotless rooms and well-maintained common areas. The dedication of the staff in maintaining a pristine environment adds to the overall positive guest experience.
The staff at Hotel Stary Zdrój are celebrated for their friendliness, helpfulness and professionalism. Guests commend the team’s politeness, effective communication and attentiveness, which contribute to a warm and inviting hotel ambiance.
The spa facilities are well-regarded with the pool, whirlpool and sauna receiving high praise. Guests appreciate the beautiful and functional wellness area, noting the chlorine-free water in the pool and jacuzzi as a highlight. The all-day access to the spa facilities adds to the guests' relaxation and rejuvenation.
The pool area stands out for its warm, inviting atmosphere and top-notch features such as hydrotherapy jets and a whirlpool. Although some guests wish for longer pool hours, the overall positive experience, bolstered by cleanliness and accessibility, is noteworthy.
While the comfort of the beds receives mixed reviews with many guests finding the mattresses too soft or saggy, the issue is a minor blemish amidst the hotel's otherwise positive reviews. The indoor pool area is particularly praiseworthy with mineral, chlorine-free water and additional features like a jacuzzi and sauna enhancing guests' enjoyment.
In summary, Hotel Stary Zdrój delivers a delightful experience with its beautiful location, excellent dining, clean and charming rooms, dedicated staff and superb spa facilities. Despite minor areas for improvement, the overall positive feedback underscores a consistently satisfying stay.
