Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
AAM Hotel earns positive feedback for its strategic city-center location, offering convenient access to local attractions, amenities and public institutions like USM and HUSM. Guests appreciate the proximity to supermarkets, shopping malls, food stalls and local breakfast venues, making it an ideal choice for both business and leisure travelers. The easy parking and overall hotel facilities further enhance visitors' comfort.
The breakfast experience at AAM Hotel is generally favorable with many guests describing it as good, nice and delicious. While the complimentary breakfast offers a variety of tasty options, there are a few areas for improvement, including the timing of breakfast service and the need for better beverage options. Some guests were also surprised by the self-service aspect of washing plates and cutlery.
The rooms are frequently praised for their cleanliness, spaciousness and comfortable decor. Quiet surroundings and upgraded family rooms with ample space are additional perks. However, guests have reported maintenance issues like slow air conditioning, broken water heaters, malfunctioning doors and occasional cleanliness problems such as ants, dust and musty smells. Enhancing room facilities and maintaining cleanliness could significantly improve the guest experience.
Cleanliness across the hotel has received mixed reviews. While some visitors note clean rooms and functioning water heaters, there are complaints about poor maintenance, unclean areas and unpleasant odors in bathrooms. Improving cleaning protocols and addressing specific cleanliness concerns would benefit the hotel's reputation.
Staff service is generally commended for its friendliness, helpfulness and politeness. However, some guests experienced long check-in times and reported communication barriers. Instances of unprofessional behavior were also mentioned. Improving staff training and communication skills could enhance the overall service quality.
Parking is another strength of AAM Hotel with guests appreciating the availability of safe and hassle-free parking. The free parking adds value, though there is room for improvement due to occasional limited spacing.
When it comes to beds, the experience is mixed. Many guests find the beds and pillows comfortable and appreciate the double-story house design. Conversely, issues like uncomfortable mattresses, creaking bed frames and cleanliness concerns with bedding were highlighted. Addressing these issues could improve the comfort of the stay.
Overall, AAM Hotel is valued for its convenient location, generally good breakfast and friendly staff, although some improvements in cleanliness, maintenance and bed quality are necessary to enhance guest satisfaction further.
