Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
The Ramada by Wyndham Jerusalem is well-regarded for its prime central location, making it an excellent base for exploring Jerusalem and beyond. The hotel's proximity to public transportation and major attractions is a significant advantage with guests noting the convenience and ease of access to various parts of the city. The area is quiet and pleasant despite its centrality and the facility boasts inviting amenities like clean indoor and outdoor pools, ample parking and beautiful panoramic views from the rooms. Service from staff is frequently described as amazing, adding to the overall positive experience.
Breakfast receives generally positive reviews for its diverse and plentiful offerings with guests appreciating the quality and variety available. Despite some critiques about freshness and occasional overcrowding, the breakfast is often celebrated for exceeding expectations. Dinner receives mixed feedback; while some guests enjoy the tasty and high-quality kosher meals, others find it overpriced and lacking in variety, particularly on Shabbat.
Rooms are frequently praised for being spacious and clean, providing a comfortable stay with ample space for relaxation. Although some décor and furnishings appear worn and in need of refurbishment, most guests are satisfied with room cleanliness and comfort. However, cleanliness in public areas tends to be inconsistent with particular criticism directed at the lobby bathrooms and poolside areas.
Staff at the Ramada by Wyndham Jerusalem are widely appreciated for their friendliness, professionalism and attentive service. Specific employees receive accolades for their accommodating nature, although a few reviews mention inconsistencies in service quality and language skills.
The hotel's spa and pool facilities receive a generally positive reception, especially the large, clean indoor pool. Guests appreciate the separate swimming hours for women and the overall pleasant swimming experience, though there are suggestions for more consistent maintenance and extended pool operating hours.
Families find the hotel particularly accommodating, enjoying the spacious environment, special activities for children and considerate treatment, especially during Shabbat. Despite some issues with facilities and service inconsistencies, the hotel is seen as a family-friendly destination.
Beds at the Ramada by Wyndham Jerusalem are commonly described as comfortable, contributing to pleasant sleep experiences though there are a few complaints about older mattresses and bedding arrangements.
In summary, the Ramada by Wyndham Jerusalem is highly appreciated for its convenient location, friendly and helpful staff, spacious rooms and pleasant amenities, making it a favored choice for both family vacations and religious observances, despite some areas needing improvement in cleanliness and dining services.
