Leicester City Center The Boat House Building is praised for its prime location in the heart of Leicester, offering guests easy access to the vibrant city center's amenities, shops, restaurants, and nightlife, all while maintaining a peaceful atmosphere due to its slightly off-road positioning. This convenience, coupled with the proximity of affordable parking options, makes it an ideal spot for both leisure and business travelers.
The comfort of the beds is frequently mentioned by guests, contributing to a restful stay, despite occasional feedback on room cleanliness and maintenance. The staff is a standout aspect, consistently receiving accolades for their courteous and helpful nature, with receptionists like Noor and Moktar making notable positive impressions. This level of service enhances the overall guest experience, making up for some of the property's inconsistencies.
Although the Wi-Fi service can be unreliable at times, some guests have had satisfactory experiences, and issues are generally addressed promptly. The property offers reasonable value, especially for midweek stays, with spacious accommodations that meet basic expectations. While some furnishings and fixtures might benefit from improvement, the Boat House Building presents itself as a practical and convenient choice for those visiting Leicester, delivering on the promise of location and comfort, with guests often recommending it for future visits.
