Gara Rock is a luxurious 5-star hotel that offers a breathtaking location in a secluded area with stunning sea and countryside views, making it the perfect spot for a romantic getaway or peaceful retreat. The hotel boasts exceptional service, fantastic food and a variety of spa treatments, making it perfect for those seeking luxury and relaxation. The breakfast is outstanding with a variety of local fare to cater to all tastes and requirements. The dinner menu is also excellent with locally sourced fish options and even vegan dishes receiving high praise. The quality of the rooms is superb with fabulous, large and well-equipped spaces available. However, some guests noted a lack of attention to detail in terms of cleanliness. The staff is fantastic and goes above and beyond to ensure guests have a comfortable and memorable stay. Though, some reviewers mentioned mixed reception staff during arrival. The spa is exceptional with an indoor and outdoor pool, beautiful hydro spa and jacuzzi and lovely aromatherapy massages. The outdoor pool had a slightly strong sulphur smell by the pool area, but otherwise, it was a fantastic addition, especially for winter months. Overall, Gara Rock is an excellent place to visit for a luxurious, romantic and accommodating experience.
