Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
The New Chandigarh Holiday Home offers a serene retreat situated in a quiet residential area with picturesque surroundings. Guests appreciate the tranquility and the politeness of the staff, although its remote location in Punjab, away from Chandigarh's main attractions, does pose some challenges. Accessibility is hindered by the lack of public transportation and unclear directions and the approach road is narrow and bumpy.
Despite these location challenges, guests praise the accommodations for being spacious, clean and comfortable. The rooms, which provide ample space and essential amenities, are noted for their excellent value. Cleanliness is generally commendable with spotless rooms and well-maintained facilities. However, some instances of inconsistent maintenance, particularly in bathroom cleanliness, have been mentioned.
The staff at New Chandigarh Holiday Home receive high marks for their exceptional hospitality. Guests highlight the friendly and attentive nature of the staff with the owners being especially courteous and accommodating. The personalized service and the warm atmosphere created by the staff significantly enhance the guest experience.
The holiday home is ideal for families, offering spacious family rooms and a calm environment away from the city's hustle and bustle. Positive reviews also note the comfort of the beds, which contribute to a restful night's sleep, although some guests have reported occasional lapses in bedding cleanliness.
Overall, the New Chandigarh Holiday Home is a good option for those seeking a peaceful stay with comfortable accommodations and outstanding service, despite some location and minor cleanliness challenges.
