'Srpsko Andrejevo Selo' is a serene and beautifully situated retreat just outside Belgrade, perfect for those seeking an escape from urban stress. Nestled in a rustic setting reminiscent of a traditional Serbian village, it offers a peaceful atmosphere with its homestead-like layout featuring several quaint outbuildings. While a car is necessary to reach this tranquil spot, the 20-minute bus ride from Belgrade or 14 kilometers from the city center makes it accessible.
The hotel's breakfast experience is highly praised for its quality with substantial and well-cooked à la carte options and excellent coffee, though some might find the variety limited. Similarly, the dinner service shines with delicious, affordable and plentiful dishes, often complemented by live music for an enhanced dining experience.
Accommodations at Srpsko Andrejevo Selo combine traditional design with modern comfort, presenting clean, spacious and tastefully decorated rooms that provide a cozy retreat. Despite occasional minor issues, such as cigarette smells, the overall cleanliness is impeccable, further heightened by the well-maintained gardens and facilities, contributing to the hotel's inviting and restful ambiance.
The staff's friendliness and professionalism are notable, consistently highlighted for their warm and helpful demeanor, which creates a family-friendly and welcoming environment. Though Wi-Fi connectivity can be inconsistent, especially in the rooms, areas near the entrance and breakfast area offer better performance.
Parking is convenient with a large, private and safe on-site lot, adding to the overall ease of stay. The comfort of the beds is frequently mentioned, ensuring a restful night's sleep with high-quality mattresses and pillows.
For those traveling with pets, the hotel is dog-friendly, allowing pets on its open territory. However, potential guests should be aware of the challenges posed by stray dogs and occasional noise from neighboring dogs at night.
Overall, 'Srpsko Andrejevo Selo' stands out for its serene location, excellent dining, comfortable accommodations and welcoming staff, making it a delightful retreat for families looking to explore the beauty of the Serbian countryside.
