Kurokawa Onsen Oku no Yu offers a diverse array of relaxing hot spring experiences, immersed in the tranquility of nature. Guests frequently praise the outdoor onsen facilities for their beauty and spaciousness, with many different types of baths to cater to various preferences. These include mixed, private, and women-only options, ensuring a personalized experience for everyone. The outdoor onsen pools provide stunning natural views, making them a highlight of the stay. While the indoor and outdoor bath areas might be a bit labyrinthine, the overall variety and quality of the hot springs more than make up for any confusion. Private onsen facilities, in particular, receive high accolades for their secluded charm and connection to the surrounding forest. Although the public onsen selection is limited, the well-maintained establishment offers 24-hour access to its pools, allowing guests to bask in the warm waters whenever they like. Despite a few minor hiccups, such as chilly drafts in family changing rooms, the high standard of service and the exceptional quality of the hot springs generally exceed expectations.
