Summary of reviews related to the 'EV charging stations' category
Summarized by AI
The Holiday Inn Express - Fulda by IHG, offers charging options for electric vehicles, including bicycles and electric cars. The hotel provides three EV charging stations located in the underground garage. While the availability of these charging facilities is a plus, numerous guests have highlighted that the cost for using them is notably high. The standard fee for a session is a flat rate of 50 euros for 24 hours, irrespective of how much energy is consumed, which many find exorbitant and inflexible.
This flat rate has led to dissatisfaction among guests, who believe a more equitable billing system based on kilowatt-hours used would be fairer. Some guests also pointed out that the pricing information for these charges is unclear and not consistently communicated, adding to the confusion. Despite the convenience of having charging stations on the property, the high costs have left several guests feeling that this feature is not worth the added expense.
Overall, while the presence of EV charging stations at Holiday Inn Express - Fulda is a useful amenity for electric vehicle owners, the charges associated with using these facilities have been criticized as too high. This has led some guests to suggest seeking alternative, more affordable charging options nearby.
