The hotel’s strategic location, just a kilometer from the train station and close to Bologna, provides easy access to major highways, making it an ideal choice for those on road trips. Despite its position along a main road and within a somewhat remote countryside setting, it strikes a balance between accessibility and tranquility without bustling surroundings.
Visitors can expect a traditional Italian breakfast featuring good pastries and orange juice, accompanied by cheese, sausage and fresh bread. Despite some variability in the reception of the breakfast offerings, it generally provides a hearty start for those who appreciate typical Italian morning fare.
The hotel's restaurant receives high praise for its delicious food, especially the grilled meat, crescentine and homemade pasta. Guests commend the great Italian cuisine, including excellent pizzas, offered at reasonable prices. The friendly service and cozy ambiance further enhance the dining experience, making meals a delightful aspect of the stay.
Rooms at Albergo Ristorante Sterlina are often described as spacious, clean and comfortable, perfect for short stays or stopovers. Guests appreciate the air conditioning, sizeable bathrooms and overall cleanliness, despite the decor being somewhat dated. The warm and welcoming ways of the hotel owners contribute to a hospitable environment, creating a sense of home away from home.
Cleanliness is consistently highlighted with rooms and bathrooms being well-managed and immaculate. The staff members are noted for their friendliness and helpful nature with the owners often receiving specific praise for their kindness and availability.
As a three-star hotel, Albergo Ristorante Sterlina meets expectations with its clean, quiet and pleasant environment.
