Guests have access to the pool, sauna and steam room throughout their stay which are always clean and well-kept. Some guests felt that the spa could benefit from upgrading or extra cleaning, while others found the spa ok. Overall, the spa facilities were excellent and provided the perfect end to a day at the hotel.

The plunge pools were also reported to be broken by some guests. In addition, some were surprised to find out that they had to pay extra to use the spa as guests. Despite these setbacks, the staff were generally welcoming and excellent and the spa was still a nice added bonus for many guests. The spa was described as a bit small but nice, lovely and amazing by others. For those who were able to use the spa and book treatments, it was a fantastic and invigorating experience. Although there were some disappointments, the Netherwood Hotel and Spa is still a fabulous place to stay with excellent spa facilities at an affordable price.
