The Apex City Quay Hotel & Spa boasts a fantastic location near various attractions and the presence of a spa and pool adds to its allure. Guests speak highly of the superb spa facilities where they enjoyed treatments from experienced staff. The separate systems for the spa, restaurant and hotel add to the convenience of guests. Leisure facilities including a gym, swimming pool and sauna are also available. While some guests were disappointed with the spa being closed, others thoroughly loved the spa facilities and recommended them to anyone. There were some changes to the changing facilities at the spa, which were much better. The hotel room was lovely and the breakfast fine with the only downside being that there is only one hotel in the area with a spa. Overall, the leisure facilities were superb and the spa experience was great.

The Old Course Hotel in St Andrews boasts an amazing spa, loved by guests who appreciated the great facilities including an impressive plunge pool and the hydrapool. Some felt that better access to the spa should be offered, as the limited opening hours and expensive fees were disappointing for some guests. Despite this, many felt that the spa was a very welcome facility and a highlight of their stay. Interestingly, the Kohler Spa stole the show with its beautiful interiors and superb treatments, though some felt the spa area was a little bit disappointing. The busy spa could be improved, as some were surprised to find dirty towels and robes everywhere. However, for some, their spa treatment was the best they've ever had. Despite having to pay for use of the spa, guests still found the pool facilities to be excellent. Overall, the spectacular spa at Old Course Hotel is a fabulous addition to a lovely hotel stay.
