Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Golden Heaven Hotel enjoys high praise for its prime location, being within convenient walking distance from Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport and directly across from Airport Gate No. 2.5. This strategic placement is a significant advantage for travelers with early flights or layovers, consistently highlighted positively in guest reviews.
The hotel's rooms receive mixed feedback. Guests often appreciate the basic cleanliness but note that the rooms are very small and not ideal for more than two occupants. Several reviews point out that the rooms felt cramped and some guests encountered cleanliness issues, including dust and inadequate upkeep, particularly in the bathrooms. Noise levels and outdated furnishings also detracted from the overall room experience for some.
While the cleanliness of Golden Heaven Hotel is often brought into question, particularly concerning the bathrooms, bed linens and reports of insects such as cockroaches and mosquitos, the hotel's staff generally leave a favorable impression. The staff's politeness and helpfulness, especially at the reception desk, consistently receive positive mention. Specific personnel, like Ram Krishna, are highlighted for their exceptional service, though there are occasional comments regarding less gentle behavior.
Regarding bed comfort, opinions vary. Many guests found the beds comfortable, but cleanliness issues with bed sheets, stained bedding and insufficient or unclean blankets were common complaints. Some also reported issues with bed bugs and mosquitos, further affecting their comfort.
Despite these varied reviews, Golden Heaven Hotel stands out for travelers prioritizing convenience and proximity to the airport, supported by generally positive interactions with the hotel staff. However, potential guests should be mindful of room size and cleanliness concerns.
