While it would have been nice for parking to be included in the stay, it's understandable that in the heart of Portland, you do have to pay for parking. The hotel provides valet parking, which some found expensive, but others appreciated the in and out access to their valeted car, which was affordable. Although parking fees were not clearly disclosed and some guests felt charged too much for valet, the convenience and level of service provided made it a pleasant experience overall.
