Guests appreciate its proximity to the Fango Valley and picturesque Fangu river, which are ideal for excursions and hiking. It serves as a convenient base for exploring nearby natural wonders, while still being a short drive from Calvi and its attractions, which adds to its appeal for outdoor enthusiasts.
The hotel is well-regarded for its exceptionally clean environment and friendly atmosphere. Guests consistently praise the meticulous cleanliness of the rooms, modern bathrooms, and daily maintenance, ensuring a welcoming stay. The friendly and attentive staff further enhance the experience, offering personable service and insightful local recommendations, which adds a personalized touch to each guest's visit.
Breakfast at Hotel Cinque Arcate is served on a charming terrace with a magnificent view. The offerings are simple yet satisfying, with a notable variety in the coffee selection. While some find the breakfast less substantial, it is generally considered pleasant and typical of a Corsican hotel. The price point of 7 euros garners mixed opinions, but does not detract significantly from the overall experience.
Rooms are spacious and comfortable, with recent renovations contributing to their modern appeal. Despite some areas lacking air conditioning and certain amenities, the accommodations are well-received for cleanliness and views. However, guests seeking additional comfort could benefit from updates, particularly regarding bed quality and room temperature control.
The pool is a standout feature of the hotel, praised for its cleanliness and inviting atmosphere. Its strategic placement allows guests to soak in the serene surroundings, with umbrellas and sun loungers adding to the leisure experience. Open until 9 PM, the pool is seen as a highlight and a refreshing retreat post-exploration, significantly enhancing the hotel's value.
In summary, Hotel Cinque Arcate offers a tranquil escape with its excellent location, dedicated service, and appealing amenities like a beautiful pool and spacious rooms.
