Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Ramada by Wyndham Rockaway offers a well-rounded experience for travelers, with its standout features being its location and exceptional staff. Positioned just 25 minutes from Manhattan, the hotel provides easy access to New York City for both leisure and business travelers. The tranquil setting also offers proximity to dining options, essential services, and local businesses, making it a practical choice for visitors seeking convenience and relaxation.
Guests generally find the breakfast service satisfactory, enjoying a continental-style spread with highlights like Belgian waffles and good coffee. While some guests suggest improvements in variety and cleanliness, the breakfast is deemed adequate for a quick start to the day.
The hotel's rooms are widely appreciated for their spaciousness, comfort, and cleanliness. Visitors often commend the comfort of the beds, with King-sized options being a particular highlight. Although some elements, like furnishings, show signs of aging, ongoing renovations indicate a commitment to improvement. The staff receives high praise for their friendliness and helpfulness, significantly enhancing guest experiences by addressing needs with professionalism and courtesy.
Cleanliness is a point of both admiration and critique, with many guests applauding the tidiness of rooms and bathrooms. The occasional lapses in maintenance and odd odors highlight areas for improvement, but the overall impression remains positive.
In summary, Ramada by Wyndham Rockaway successfully delivers a clean, comfortable stay with commendable service and a strategic location, making it an appealing choice for those seeking value and convenience in their travels.
