Appart Lille Centre enjoys a prime location that guests highly appreciate for its practicality and accessibility. Situated conveniently close to the metro, the city center is just a short five-minute ride away. Guests value the property's quiet surroundings despite its proximity to lively areas, including bars, convenience stores and key landmarks such as the Grand Palais and Zénith concert hall. The neighborhood’s closeness to shops and amenities further enhances the ease of stay, making it a particularly accommodating place for travelers, including those with reduced mobility. The combination of a tranquil street and excellent metro access makes it an ideal base for exploring Lille, contributing positively to the overall value for money.
In terms of cleanliness, the feedback is mixed. Many guests found the accommodation to be generally clean, quiet and well-maintained, appreciating the made beds and availability of clean sheets and towels. However, significant concerns were also raised regarding unpleasant odors, dirty conditions and inconsistency with online photos. Issues such as sticky furniture, stained walls, dirty windows and basic kitchen inventory were noted. Some guests reported more severe issues like mold, spiders in the shower, rusty fixtures and worn-out floors. The mixed reviews suggest that while some visitors found the cleanliness acceptable, many felt that it did not meet expectations and requires improvement.
Regarding the beds, feedback is similarly varied. Numerous guests found the beds very comfortable, praising both the double bed and the sofa bed for providing satisfactory rest. However, other guests experienced discomfort due to uncomfortable mattresses and poor bedding conditions, noting issues such as used and un-ironed bedding. Despite these criticisms, many guests felt the bed quality met their expectations, especially considering the price point.
Overall, Appart Lille Centre is valued for its strategic location and the general comfort of its beds, though it faces notable criticisms concerning cleanliness that suggest a need for improvement in that area.
